Singularity

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? is a Latin phrase found in the work of the Roman poet Juvenal from his Satires (Satire VI, lines 347–348). It is literally translated as "Who will guard the guards themselves?

In the near future, a deadly plague leads to the creation of a police-state as the government installs surveillance systems to prevent the virus' spread. When 'carriers' have been identified, a guardian is assigned to take them away; but when faced with the prospect that his own friend is infected, a guardian must decide whether or not he believes in the system that he's supposed to uphold.
