Under Comments: Very interesting. Never heard of this one, although I can tell you about another great (White) South African film; "Ride The High Wind" starring Darrin McGavin and Maria Perschy, circa 1966. Also known as "African Gold". I saw it a few times when I was younger and was impressed by A) the exotic location filming, B) the breezy theme song, and C) the message of the movie, which was that "love is more precious than gold". Unfortunately "Ride The High Wind" seems to have vanished and is nowhere to be found; not on Youtube, not on DVD, and I don't know of it being aired anywhere either. Perhaps this is due to political correctness, since the film was made in white-ruled South Africa? The film was based on a novel by George Harding. Too bad -- I hate to see great art lost.
